Hands & Feet
Manicure
A manicure is a beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands. A manicure consists of filing and shaping the free edge of nails, pushing and clipping any nonliving tissue, treatments with various liquids, massage of the hand, scrubbing of the hand, and the application of Gelish.
Pedicures
A pedicure is a therapeutic treatment for your feet that removes dead skin, softens hard skin and shapes and treats your toenails. A good foot treatment is heaven.
Most people get a pedicure to relax or cosmetic touch-ups, but there are a few potential health benefits as well:
Infection detection: A nail artist might be able to detect fungal infections or bunions early, so you can deal with them before they become an issue.
Softer skin: Many pedicures will use creams, lotions, and other add-ons that work to cure dry skin. And nearly all of them include exfoliation to remove any dead, unnecessary skin.
Stress relief: If you can relax during a pedicure, you might get a psychological boost.
How often should pedicures be done ?
Every 4 to 6 weeks. To keep your feet happy and healthy, a professional pedicure should be scheduled every 4 to 6 weeks. For those with healthy, happy feet, a schedule of between 4 and 6 weeks usually works well. This schedule assumes that you are not trying to make substantial improvements, but rather maintain your healthy feet.
